Remembrance Sunday Charity Appeal

Every year on Remembrance Sunday, we launch an appeal for our chosen charity, UK Homes For Heroes. https://www.ukh4h.org.uk/

UK Homes For Heroes

Founded in 2010, by Jimmy Jukes MBE and Michelle Thorpe aka Mrs Bucket, the charity now operates from it’s HQ in Whitstable in Kent, and runs community outreach programmes in London, Brighton and Bournemouth.

For 13 years UK Homes 4 Heroes outreach teams have fed and clothed ex service personnel from street level to sofa surfing.  In the years that the charity has been in operation , hundreds of homeless veterans have been re-homed by UKH4H

The London outreach is in Waterloo, and has been running since 2010.

The Christmas Outreach

Our appeal on behalf on UKH4H is help pay for the Christmas Outreach in Waterloo, from 20th December – 10th January 2024, where the team will provide hot food and drinks and sandwiches for 21 consecutive days, including a 5 course, sit down Christmas Dinner.

The shopping is already underway, and you thought your shopping bill was large.

To Make A Donation

We appreciate that times are difficult for everyone, but living and sleeping rough is just brutal

The mind numbing cold, dirt and dust and the constant threat of violence from other rough sleepers, is no way to treat veterans who served our nation.

Any amount you can spare, however large or small, will be put to good use by this fantastic charity. Here’s how make a donation:
